Chattyboo Productions was founded in July 2006 by Angela Newman. We aim to produce high quality, professional theatre to the people of Cork and beyond.  Chattyboo receives no state, Arts Council or Independent financial support of any kind, instead we rely on ticket sales, advertising and the kind sponsorship of local businesses.

Deirdre of Sorrows

We toured to twenty Primary schools in County Cork last year with the hugely popular “The Children of Lir” and intend to extend the amount this year.

Due to the overwhelming interest and high standard of Entries last year, (WE HAD OVER 2000 ENTRIES) we are yet again extending an invitation to the school children of Cork to design the poster for our next production, Deirdre of Sorrows, which will tour to schools in May 2009.
