Angela Newman
Angela Newman has been performing for over 16 years. She appeared in various pantomimes, variety shows and musicals including the Irish premiere’s of 'A Chorus Line' and 'Fame'. She toured to France, with 'Joseph and … Dreamcoat' before attending Stella Mann college or performing arts in London in 1998, on her return she performed in the 'Wizard of Oz' and played Sister Leo in 'Nunsense'. She then went on to do summer seasons 2000 and 2001 in NY, playing the lead roles in 'Indian Field', 'The Gospel According to Broadway' and 'The Show of the Century'. Angela then spent 2 years singing at Bunratty and Dunguaire castles. She landed the role of Nash in the all female 'Reservoir Dogs' in Brisbane, Australia. Some of her other credits include Sophie in 'Three Piece Sweet', Tooth Fairy in 'The Four F's', Peggy in 'Dark Week' and Didley (Ugly Sister) in 'Fairytale of Cork'. She has recently graced the stage as Gwendolyn Fairfax in ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’, as Aoife in ’The Children of Lir’ and as Actor in 'The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon'. Her television and film credits include the part of Julie in 'Grey' (red11) and (BBC) series 'Falling for a Dancer', 'Lotto Gold' and a McDonalds ad in Australia and more recently in the ‘Cork Summer Festival’ Ad and as a guest presenter on ‘Sattitude’. Angela played Jane Murphy in the world premiere of Patrick Galvin's 'The Cage' which opened the new theatre in 2006. Chattyboo productions is a dream come true for Angela. She studied Arts administration at Colaiste Stiofain Noafa, in 2000 and is the Assistant Manager of the Cork Arts Theatre. This will be the sixth venture for Chattyboo Productions since it’s inception in 2006.

Laura Daly
Laura graduated from UCC in 2007 with a first class honours degree in Drama and Theatre Studies. She has however, been acting for far longer than that. Her roles have been vast and varied including ‘Nancy’ in Oliver, ‘Squidley’ the Ugly Sister in Fairytale of Cork, ‘Hannah Jarvis’ in Tom Stoppard’s Arcadia and most recently is best known for her acclaimed performance as an eighty year old woman in The Irish Canon. Laura has also been focusing on directing of late. Her directorial debut was the ISDA nominated Dogg’s Hamlet for UCC Dramat. This was followed by Chattyboo’s production of The Children of Lir and she most recently directed Duck as part of The New Director’s Festival at the Granary Theatre in Cork. She is delighted to be working with Chattyboo once more.

Liam Heaslip

Kieran O'Leary
Kieran has been acting and directing with the Cork Shakespearean Company for just over 12 years, playing such parts as Orlando in 'As You Like It', Edmund in 'King Lear' and Brutus in 'Julius Ceasar'. He has also directed plays for the company, including 'A Midsummers Nights Dream', 'Romeo and Juliet' in which he also played Friar Lawrence and 'Twelfth Night' in which he played Sir Toby Belch. His mosr recent role for the company was Shylock in 'The Merchant of Venice'. Parts in plays with other companies include Captain Shotover in G.B Shaw's 'Heartbreak House', Liam Scuab in J.B. Keanes 'Sive', Rosecrantz in 'Hamlet', Captain Lancey in Brian Friels 'Translations' and Claudius in Blackthorn Theatres production of 'Hamlet'.

Adrian Scanlan
Adrian Scanlan has been performing on stage since his school days oh, so long ago. His roles have been startlingly diverse, from drama to farce, panto to Shakespeare. No, really. He has been improvising and acting in comedy sketches and standup as part of the illustrious Snatch Comedy group since their inception in 2002. He also writes comedy, sci-fi and fantasy stories and scripts, as well as being a radio journalist and sometime drama teacher. It is a true fact that he once worked for the Disney Corporation. His catalogue of award-winning biogs will soon be published as a collection. This is his third production with Chattyboo, the other two shows being John B. Keanes 'Moll' and 'The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon'.

Shane Falvey
Shane Falvey Originates from the village of Bruff in County Limerick.
He graduated with Distinction from the Marion Wyatt Theatre Performance Course In Colaiste Stiofain Naofa Cork in 2004.
Upon completing the course that year
Shane was cast as 'Billy' in Skylights production of "One flew over the cuckoos nest" in the Cork Arts Theatre.
He has also played 'Renfield' in Dracula in Skylights 2006 production in the Firkin Crane.
Shane has toured for 8 months in the national production of Diarmuid and Graine playing 'Diarmuid' in 2004.
Shane has completed five tours to date.
He has worked with the Cork Opera House/Cyclone productions of Romeo and Juliet, and, The Merchant Of Venice.
He played Ao in Roddy Doyles "Brownbread" in the Firkin Crane.
He played 'Brendan Farrell/Pencil' in Graffiti's 2008 production of "A Day In the Life Of A Pencil".
He has just completed tha part of 'Alpha' of Graffiti's 2009 production of "The Lost Ones".
Shane has also co written and produced a short film which was accepted to international film festivals.
Shane has numerous projects coming up with the Granary theatre and the Opera house and is looking forward to this play
very much. Shane will also be shooting a film at the end of july.

Cuan Muyllaert
Cuan was born and raised in the town-land of Ardbraccan near Navan in County Meath. He began acting and performing under the guidance of Richie Ball at the age of fifteen and has since been awarded a Diploma in Theatre and Drama Studies from the Dublin Institute of Technology. In 2004/2005 he performed with Playback Theatre in Dublin and also sang with the ‘Weir-wolf Quartet’, a Dublin based four part harmony male acapella group (performed at the Galway races Ball in 2005). He is a writer of music and poetry and performs as a singer and musician around Cork city and county. Since moving to Cork in 2006 he has worked full time as an S.N.A. (special needs assistant) in a school in Cork city and part-time as a group facilitator with ‘Cork Music Works.’
This is Cuan’s first show with Chattyboo Productions.
