Peter Pana the Adult Panto Update

6pm
The below covers all scheduled shows from 18 December onwards. All shows will now take place at 6 PM, doors at 5:30.
As you may be aware even more restrictions were imposed on the arts and hospitality last night. The restrictions over the past two years have had not only a devastating effect on our industry as a whole but on Chattyboo Productions particularly, as we receive no government support whatsoever as a company independent of a venue. We have already had to cut our houses by 50% this panto, meaning all cast and crew wages were affectively cut by 50% also.
Bringing a smile to your faces and making people laugh is and always has been what it has been all about for us but as you may appreciate we also have bills, rents, mortgages to pay and families to look after too, so we ask that you keep all of this in mind and seriously consider what we are offering below as we don’t want the show to end tomorrow night.
  • All shows will go on but at the earlier time of 6pm doors opening at 5.30pm
  • YOU MUST LET US KNOW BEFORE 2PM on the day you hold tickets for whether you will still be attending in person
  • If you can no longer attend, you will be offered a link to watch the panto at home on the same night that you hold tickets for instead, which you can share with all the members of your party.
We have done our absolute best to keep the adult Panto spirit alive and appreciate your continued support.

Brothers Grimm (2008)

Cork Arts Theatre | October 25 – 31, 2008

The fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm are turned on their heads in this fast-paced, rollicking ride as two narrators and several actors attempt to combine all 209 stories ranging from classics like Snow White, Cinderella, and Hansel and Gretel to more bizarre, obscure stories like The Devil’s Grandmother and The Girl without Hands. A wild, free-form comedy with lots of witches, goblins and more princes than you can shake a stick at; it is simply bursting at the seams with audience participation and madcap fun. If you like The Reduced Shakespeare Co. you will love this!

This fantastic show is brought to you by Chattyboo Productions, The people who brought you “The Importance of Being Earnest”, “Moll”, and “The Children of Lir”. With a wonderful cast which includes Adrian Scanlan, Angela Newman, Annette Roche, Marie O’Donovan and Ali Keane under the direction of George Hanover, with brilliant costumes and creative set, this show promises to be the ultimate Halloween treat.
